I was rummaging through my inventory and trying to find something
nice to wear for the day when I came across a box of freebies from
and out came this burst of flowery sunshine outfit. So, I head out to
check some other stuff at the store and found the owner knee-deep
in restoring her shop. She said SL ate her store. Oh no!
Not to worry since I saw some people helping her out and everything should
be back to normal in on time.

I love exploring, and this is the season to visit the spooky, shadowy, uncanny, unsettling, and sometimes breathtaking places on the grid. First stop on my tour of the haunted (and haunting) places of SL? The immersive and interactive REC. Based on a movie of the same name, the sim recreates the story line of a female reporter and a group of firemen trapped in a rundown apartment building with residents afflicted with illness or worse. Zombies anyone? The in-game build is marvelous from a technical standpoint even if you don't like being spooked (no success yet in getting Freya here!) and comes complete with masterful texturing, sophisticated animations, great props to take home, atmospheric sounds, and a hud that gives the appearance of experiencing the build through a video camera. And my outfit?
I wanted a stylish professional look suitable for a female reporter, and I opted for Velma-esque turtleneck from Haute Style and Co., linen pants and cameo belt from Pixel Dolls, box camera from Le Petit Prince, and a recent happy find -- inexpensive chocolate brown rose boots from G Field.

One of the pleasures of season cleaning in my inventory is the second jolt of pleasure when, combing through folders, you discover a beautiful piece that you'd forgotten or, if you're a dedicated treasure hunter, perhaps never unwrapped. In spiritual writing, it is pretty commonplace to hear that what you seek is inside, not outside---that's also applicable to my increasingly large inventory. It's easy to forget or undervalue the great finds you're already carrying around.In my case, I discovered a lot of great outfits from Bare Rose, a bargain bin champ for those who want champagne quality on a Bud Lite budget. The shop has an extensive freebie section and is offering several Halloween friendly items like the Pumpkin Elf costume and fantasy skins along with furniture, props, eyes, and hair. It tops my list of bargain champs, however, because it offers a huge range of knockout outfits for a price around 140L. Many outfits come as "fatpacks" with several transfer_ok color variants. This one, Nocturne 3, comes complete with hair, accessories, and shoes---the only thing added is Gala's spectacular Film Noir skin. The texturing and detail, as with most of the outfits, is remarkable. Bare Rose is a huge store, and you might find it useful to shop with their WEBSITE which provides keyword searching, name searching, pictures, and a slurl right to the garment. A modifiable skirt comes with these set of outfits I found at LUXURIOUS FASHION ...
I decided to liven up the prim skirt by re-texturing it to match the butter yellow top. Just hit your edit button and change the color to whatever you feel like. C'mon, you can do it!
This store with some really nice ensemble for just 75L. It's a complete outfit and they come in teal/blue and they also have it in pink.
